Office Coordinator at the Swedish National Agency for Education
Do you have extensive knowledge of school issues and government management, and want to help facilitate the leadership of the Swedish National Agency for Education in fulfilling its tasks? We are now looking for an office coordinator for our executive office.
Be part of contributing to the future of education!
About the job
As an office coordinator, you will provide qualified support to the Director General (DG), Deputy Director General (DDG), and the agency's management team. Your support aims to give the management team the conditions for increased oversight of the agency's work and ensure that it is conducted in accordance with the management's decisions and choices. You will ensure that previous decisions are taken into account in new assignments and bring in central insights to the agency's leadership.
A central part of the role involves preparing and ensuring the quality of materials. You will do this by revising existing materials to meet the different needs of the Director General, Deputy Director General, or the agency's management team.
If necessary, you will request materials from parts of the organization that have expertise, to compile these into products tailored to the purposes and contexts where the DG, DDG, and the agency's management team request them. This may involve materials for specific decisions, external representation contexts, or strategic discussions in the management team. You will also participate in the preparation of issues and decisions, and in assessing whether these should be raised to the agency's leadership.
Your tasks also include contributing to the development of the work in the agency's management team, for example by supporting strategic and long-term meeting planning and preparing and facilitating meetings. You will follow up on decisions and positions by informing and anchoring with relevant departments and monitoring how decisions are handled. Your work involves close collaboration with various functions throughout the agency. You will also coordinate the work with the Swedish National Agency for Education's advisory council.
You will belong to the Executive Office, which includes three office coordinators and two administrators, and is led by the Deputy Director General. Together, you provide strategic and administrative support to the leadership of the Swedish National Agency for Education.
You will work in our modern and spacious office in Solna Business Park. You may also have the opportunity to work up to 50% remotely.
